A Hanger with an Extra Talent

Posted: 15 Mar 2011 08:47 AM PDT

The Tree Hanger hanger not only hangs clothes but the design also facilitates easy air drying. The base of each hanger has an extendable bit to snap more hangers together. The extra width is perfect for flat drying before you hang them up. The geometric cutouts provide just enough surface area for stability without disrupting airflow.

Catch That Cap!

Posted: 15 Mar 2011 08:43 AM PDT

There are several ways to open a beer bottle but where do those bottle caps end up? Flung across the floor, someone’s forehead, trapped between the couch cushions? This clever device opens the bottles and catches the caps until you decide to
release the prisoners by removing the flexible base to make room for more victims. Super Bowl Sunday will never be the same again! Think of the caps as badges of honor. Get drunk people.

This Glue Won’t Stick!

Posted: 15 Mar 2011 08:42 AM PDT

A simple tweak in the body and proactive action of saving the cap, two good reasons to redesign the Glue Stick! The tear-shaped tube won't roll off the table and the darn thing works ONLY if you latch the cap to the end. My office supply staff is going to be so happy!

The Magical Bend

Posted: 15 Mar 2011 08:39 AM PDT

I have seen tons of elegant flatware but none of them as ingenious as this! The Magic Spoon is a delightful set of spoons, knives and forks that have built-in clasps at the end. Yes, exactly the hairpin kind! You can cleverly cling it to your plate while clearing out the dishes, seal pouches or simply be this show-off with cool cutlery!

Magic Spoon is a 2010 Kitchen Tools Winner!

DIY Custom Shelving

Posted: 15 Mar 2011 12:53 AM PDT

I wuvvv the practical design of this shelving system. The shelves of the S03 can be assembled to any size or combination to adapt to the desired space. For easy and cost-efficient transportation, the European beech components fit together snugly to create the smallest, most compact packing size possible.

Rabo Curing Light

Posted: 15 Mar 2011 12:10 AM PDT

Being a lover of candy, I am all-too-familiar with this little gadget. Curing lights are primarily used in the dental industry for rapid curing of resin (fillings).  This pocket-size pen from Milestone-Studio is cordless but yields high-power LED output. It’s lightweight ergonomic design and interchangeable tips make frequent use a walk in the park.

Soapboxing in Style

Posted: 15 Mar 2011 12:01 AM PDT

This high-performance soapbox derby kit concept by designer Hyun-Seok Kim is a 3-wheeled speed demon intended to leave competitors behind in the dust. The design was inspired by Italian race car maker, Abarth, and represents the brand’s principles of excellence in performance, exciting user experience, and innovative design. The trike maximizes the soapbox experience with a classic rolling seat and wire-handled controls for the steerable front axle.
